Tiger earnings beat Bodyguard, Dabangg in 9 days

As expected and predicted Yash Raj Films Ek Tha Tiger has indeed ended up netting in the 150 crore plus range, especially because Eid was celebrated on Monday, resulting in an extra holiday during the weekdays.

As per trade and distribution sources, the Kabir Khan directed Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer, ETT, has not only beaten the entire run of Salman Khan's last two blockbusters, Bodyguard and Dabangg, but it has surpassed both by about 9-10 crore, thereby netting 154-155 crore (to be validated). And that in just 9-days flat!

Additionally, the film is once again all set to be the top earner, even in the current weekend.

In the Overseas too ETT is having a dream run and once again it will end up as Salman Khan's biggest grosser.

Meanwhile, the only new release of the week, Boman-Farah starrer, Shirin Farhand Ki Toh Nikal Padi, has put up a decent performance on the opening day, with the high end multiplexes putting up a better show. If the film didn't have to contend with a still hot ETT it could have definitely done much better.
